Long Front, but Very Reliable
Overall, I would rate the 1997 Toyota Avalon very highly. Despite being over fifteen years old at this point, it runs very well and I've never seen a car that old that was comparable to the long-lasting quality of the Avalon. It looks appealing and runs very smoothly, handling much of what the road throws at it. It feels spacious enough inside, and the seats are very comfortable. The trunk is also perfectly spacious and great for carting lots of big packages around.
It's fun to drive, and has rarely needed to go to the shop for anything; I've really only taken it in for annual check-ups as it gets older, just to make sure nothing is wrong.
My biggest complaint about this car would be how long the front is -- despite being a slim car, it's sometimes hard to park in compact spaces because it sticks out so far, and it's easy to hit the curb when going in or out of a slanted driveway.

It's a comfortable and durable car
This car has been comfortable, reliable, and long-lasting. We haven't had too many repairs so far and the gas mileage has been pretty good especially on the highway.

I enjoyed this dealership because the dealers were not sleazy. They did not jump right on me as soon as I walked in with a hundred questions. Instead they let me peruse the cars, approached and politely offered to help and left me alone when I told them I'd like to look around. When I did need help there was someone close by. I also like that the prices are set and non-negotiable so that you know exactly what you're getting into as soon as you decide on a car you like.
