The vehicle was purchased on my 18th birthday by my mom as a birthday gift for me. Although it is only a used car, I really, really like it. I really like how it is pretty comfortable to stay on while driving (the seats are not too soft or too hard, they are just right for me). It is also pretty simple and easy to control temperature and change the radio, because it did not take me a long time to figure out how to operate those. I think the quality of the vehicle was good when I purchased it. I thought that the millage was very low (around 35,000 miles in 2013) because the previous owner, whom my family knows too, only used the car for occasional shopping during the weekend. The low millage was the main reason that my mom decided to buy the car. The thing that I don’t really like about my car is its color which is turquoise. I dislike green and any color that looks like green, but honestly I come from a low-income family, so I had little choice. Moreover, the vehicle does its job pretty well. There has not been any major problem with it. So far, no part of the vehicle requires replacement yet. However, there are some weird sounds when I push on the pedal. I haven't checked it out yet, and I have no idea what causes the sound.

Just OK, a good choice if you just need a reliable car
I bought this car with only decent fuel economy, reliability and longevity as the main requirements. After my old Pontiac Sunfire finally died, I had to find something fast, because at the time, I was doing delivery work from my vehicle. I almost went with a Honda Civic, but chose my Toyota Corolla SE last minute with the help of my family. The build quality is just OK. It's no power house by any means, and feels flimsy. The components of the interior also feel and look very cheap and plasticky, which was disappointing, but they're functional, and I haven't had any issues, so in the end that is all that matters to me. So far, I have been on three long road trips, and I have driven over 25,000 miles with no issues. The stereo was a little hard to figure out and navigate at first, but it sounds decent. The speakers do feel like they'll need replacing if I ever play music too loud however, and it did not come with a built in navigation system unfortunately. The performance is smooth sailing, but struggles on up-hills to the point that it lags behind trucks which is just embarrassing while driving. In cities, it is very practical, and easy to park and maneuver around. It's small but can fit a lot of cargo. The styling is actually quite cool, and pretty sporty with a nice overall aesthetic and little spoiler on the back trunk which is always a nice touch. The interior is comfortable, but the sun is absolutely blinding and it needs sunblock upgrades. The windshield wipers are already starting to dull and not wipe rain well, which is interesting because it doesn't even rain much where I live. The fuel economy, in my opinion, can be better, but it just made the cut off for what I wanted at 36 mpg highway. The trunk is small, and I was looking forward to installing a bike rack when I purchased this vehicle since my old one couldn't support one. Unfortunately, I've yet to find a model that will fit for this car. Overall, it is just OK, but if it lasts as long as my old car, I'll be satisfied. I would recommend it over a lot of other models out there.

I wasn't continually harassed, when I said I'm just looking. The car salesman was very informative. When figuring out the financial part of the sale they didn't take long. Normally it takes 2-4 hours to get a customer in a car, but not here. The staff was very welcoming.

They did not try to pressure me into buying. They worked with me on the price. The salesman was friendly and genuine. They had a good selection. They had cars that were within my price range.
