Frustrated with ongoing starter problems
There is much to like about this car but too many frustrations to recommend it. It is a basic roomy sedan that wasn't too expensive. The exterior has held up well even in a cold climate. There is very little rust. I love the antilock brakes and steering. I can make it through slippery roads and up icy hills in the winter when other cars can't. However, it has had ongoing electrical issues and starting difficulties for years. I think there are basic flaws in the electrical connections. The Gage's shave gone out intermittently. The cruise control, air conditioning switches, and fan switches will turn. Themselves off. I've had to have many parts of the ignition and starting systems replaced and they are still not good. There is no patterns but it will often be difficult to start. It has completely stumped numerous mechanics. GM has had many different recalls but none have solved the problem.

My Malibu
After walking around the car lot for about ten minutes, this car's paint color and window tint caught my eye. It was a bright, sunny day which made the car look jet black, but upon closer look, it is actually a dark gray. Since I purchased the car, I haven't had any major electrical or mechanical problems. Within the first month, I somehow ran over a screw and needed to have two of my tires replaced. Other than that, I haven't had any problems. When it comes to the performance, the only qualm I have is that the car doesn't accelerate very quickly. It takes a little time for the car to pick up the pace and get going when I step on the gas. When it comes to gas mileage, I have consistently gotten more than 27 mpg per tank. That is at least 5 mpg better than my previous car. I typically drive around 25–30 minutes to and from work every day. The car has been great in traffic with no issues in braking or handling. I would recommend this car or one of a similar style to others.

Lupient Chevrolet Bloomington
2012 Chevrolet 1248
My wife and I went here to look for a new car for her to drive back and forth to work. After some test drives and with the knowledge of previous online research, we decided we wanted a Mailbu. Throughout the whole process the salesman was patient and helped us get a deal we were comfortable with on the car we wanted. We would definitely recommend Lupient and will likely head there again if we need service or would like to purchase another vehicle.
