The Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT is an excellent SUV.
We love our Trailblazer. It's large size with the third row seating is what made us consider this car in the first place. And that aspect has been enjoyed many times over. Not only is the size of the car great for our large family it is also great to haul things whether it is in the back or with a trailer. The only negative is that the back hatch seemed to rust very early. I think it is the way the bumper holds snow. Newer ones seem to have a lower bumper and it doesn't quite seem as bad on the hatch. The engine is a V8 and we have never had any major problems with it. It is a very reliable vehicle. No matter how cold or hot it is, it always starts.

This thing is a tank and I expect it to outlast me. My only concern is gas mileage, but it's a good trade off for a solid reliable SUV.
