My son's girlfriend is going to school here in Ohio. Her entire family resides in California and wanted to help her buy a car after hers was totaled. After finding one online, we went to Dave Arborgast to take a look at it. The salesman was extremely helpful and understanding of her situation. He went out of his way to determine the easiest way to handle a sale involving a co-signer from California, set up her financing in a way that establishes credit for her while getting a much lower interest rate with the co-signer's credit history, and walked her through the process helping her and her family build confidence in her decision. She's extremely happy with the car and very comfortable that she made the right choice for her first financing decision.

The selection of automobiles and the expertise of the staff was awesome. The staff didn't seem like a sales staff at all. They seemed genuine and sincere and they were very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with my purchase and the service after the purchase was just as good. I would definitely recommend them.

Dayton, OH Driving Tips
Take your time and don't hesitate if you get lost to ask anyone for directions to where you are going. This is a very friendly city and everyone loves to be of assistance to all visitors as well as newcomers.
Dayton, OH Buying Tips
We do have lots of choices and you can go north, south, east or west and you will find lots of great choices. This is a former GM city.
Favorite driving memory
I got to see the Space Shuttle that was on the back of an aircraft carrier coming in for a landing at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and it's flight path was immediately overtop of the highway that I was driving on so I got to see it up close. Lots of cars had pulled to the side of the road to see the landing and watch the shuttle being unloaded then reloaded for display at the Air Force Museum located here in Dayton, Ohio. If you have never made a visit to the museum it is worth the time and money to come and stay for a few days. After all this is the birthplace of aviation.
Favorite road
Harshman Rd. That borders Wright Patterson Air Force Base and goes by the Air Force Museum.. You can always see a lot of interesting aircraft and lots of exhibitions there on the runways by the Air Force Museum. In the summer the base offers a festival called a Tattoo where they have many military members participate in but also outside bands come in along with exhibitions and lots of craft booths. This one event attracts as many as 200,000 to this area.

Dayton, OH Driving Tips
Don't be in a hurry to get anywhere, you might miss something. It is a very picturesque small town. Always go through the heart of the downtown and follow the signs to yield to traffic that's already in the turning lane. It's a very civil traffic pattern.
Dayton, OH Buying Tips
Most of the dealerships are on the south end of town before the entrance to US75. If you can't find what you want here, it is not that far to Dayton.
Favorite driving memory
Our city has a square at the very heart of the downtown; it has a traffic circle in the middle of it. It is a very quaint downtown. When my husband and I moved here from Illinois, the square became his favorite part of town. I would try to avoid it when I had to get across town, but if my husband was with me he would insist that we go through the downtown and around the square. For a small town, the downtown is bustling. There are a lot of small businesses and offices and there is normally a lot of foot traffic. The speed limit is diminished through town, but my husband wanted to go through there every outing, even if there were quicker more direct routes. It is now my favorite route to anywhere in town.
Favorite road
My favorite road is Ridge Ave.. Ridge Ave is my favorite because it is a very broad street and the speed limit is diminished. As its name implies it is built at the foot of a ridge; all the residences on one side of the avenue are up long steep driveways, set on the top of the ridge. They are some very fine homes. It is a beautiful drive.
