Great Family Vehicle
The Ford Edge is one of the most comfortable vehicles we have owned. The backseat is roomy enough for car seats and adults to ride comfortably. The ride is very smooth and makes longer drives easy to make. The front seats are very comfortable to sit in and reach all the features on the dash. I would make sure and spring for the SYNC feature, it really makes using the radio, phone etc. effortless. We have put many highway and city miles on the transmission and have yet to have any issues, rattles or concerns. The trunk space is also sufficient for luggage, sporting equipment and groceries. The only complaint is the blind spots through the windshield, a small window at the base of the dash on either side would help to remedy this issue. The gas mileage we average in town is decent for the size of the vehicle, and we don't seem to have compromised engine power to achieve it. For the price this vehicle has been a great investment and family vehicle. It has met each of our needs and we plan on owning it for many years.

Overall Great Vehicle
I've put about 20,000 miles on my Edge and still love it! I really like the handling, still very tight and agile. Getting through 2 horrible snowy winters have been no problem - great traction. Surprisingly good acceleration and gas mileage has been pretty close to advertised ratings. Instrumentation and controls are well placed and easy to use. Large cargo space, made even larger by folding down the rear seats. On the other side of the coin, there are a few issues...The center console is awkward to open, the front cabin support is very wide & causes a large blind-spot until you get used to it, and finally, it is impossible to turn the headlights off & have the radio on with the back hatch open...This makes for a lot of unhappy people at the drive-in! Overall, my Edge fits my needs and I'm very happy with it.
