This is a great car and has given me no problems.
My Ford Escape has been a great car for me and my family. We have owned it for over three years and we have yet to have a problem with it. It runs smoothly, and has gotten us across the country twice with no glitches. The Escape feels like a smaller car on the inside, but has the same capabilities as a larger vehicle. The details of the exterior and interior are classic and simple. The car is very comfortable to drive and the six cylinder engine gives it great towing capabilities. This car is very spacious and can easily fit five people, and has plenty of room in the trunk. The seats fold down easily to create a large storage space. The only things that I dislike about this vehicle is that it can get dirty very quickly. The fabric seats do not hold up to any water (rain, spills, etc.). Also, the gas mileage could be better. I would not use this car for commuting or driving long distances all the time. Other than the seats and the gas mileage, this car is very reliable and is a great small family car.

Good first car
This car has been a dependable vehicle for a young adult. The interior is laid out well and has a nice design. The gas mileage is great for a car of its size. Also, the trunk has an excellent amount of space and was very useful in the multiple moves I made during my college years. It handles a hard driver very well and, in my opinion, felt very similar to driving a large golf cart. The vehicle began having mechanical issues at around 140,000 miles, which is not uncommon for vehicles. I had an issue with the transmission, which was due to a factory recall, and this was taken care of. Over time, the gas mileage went down slightly, and the pick up speed was slowed. Also, the integrity of the leather has been compromised over the years, but this is an issue I only have with the driver's seat. If I could change one thing about my car, it would be to add air vents for the back seat. Overall, I've put nearly 200,000 miles on this car in the past eight years. I will be looking to upgrade to a larger car with less miles soon, but I could not ask for a better first car. It has been very dependable, despite the many miles it has traveled.
