Great family vehicle
The vehicle I drive is great for everyday use. I have three small children and I love that I can fit three large car seats in and still have room for other items, people or dogs if needed. The third row is what we needed and it passes that test. As my children grow I am afraid they won't have enough leg room in that 3rd row, though. The very back trunk space is spacious enough to fit our double stroller but not too large. The vehicle is still pretty short which I like for parking. When the air is turned on high one of the vents does rattle and I have just recently noticed an issue defrosting my front windshield. These are minor problems. We have driven this vehicle across country but mostly I drive short distances and the vehicle has held up well.

Dependable 2014 Ford Explorer
Overall, my 2014 Ford Explorer has turned out to be a good buy for my family and me. It's got a sporty look and feel to it, which is something I enjoy. It's roomy for all the family, and everyone is happy with the comfort of it. With the third-row seat we can even bring along friends on our next adventure if we want to do so. Folded down, the third-row seat is handy for suitcases and other gear on road trips, for loading groceries, and for filling it up with most anything we need to haul in it. The entertainment system in it are nice and includes Bluetooth technology, USB port an excellent sound system. The GPS is functional and handy. It's a little slow on performance with a V6, but after having another SUV with a V8, it's understandable that I would feel the difference. It does accelerate smoothly and the V6 really is not substantially less powerful-feeling than the V8. It has preformed admirably on wet pavement, icy roads and snow with its four-wheel drive, and I feel I can safely take it out under any road condition. The gas mileage is pretty decent for a four-year old vehicle. I recently gauged it, and it shows to be about 22 MPG for city driving and roughly 27 or 28 MPG for highway driving. While I don't have access to its current value, I paid roughly $24,000 for it when new. I felt at the time it was a fair price and have remained pleased with my decision to make the purchase.
