Reliable and comfortable. Great value truck!
My family was looking for a replacement for the terrible Nissan truck that broke down on us numerous times. Since we were afraid to simply get a replacement or get another one from the same brand, we thought we'd switch over and try Ford this time. We went to the local dealership, and the friendly salesman (aren't they all friendly?) showed us their truck models. What we needed was a reliable truck that won't break down on you after a few months, a truck that had a lot of space in the rear because we were going to be hauling lots of stuff most of the time, and of course, a comfortable interior where there's actually space in the backseat so that we won't feel like we're canned sardines despite being inside a massive vehicle that makes your average car seem puny. We were shown this Ford F-150 2015 model. Although it looked like any standard truck, it still looked very nice and clean, and most importantly, solid. I've seen some trucks in my time where they seemed more like pieces of metal roofing pieced together. Those were bad. This Ford F-150 was high quality, you can tell just by touching its structure. I inspected the interior of the truck, and everything was prim and proper. The frame was really solid and most importantly, the side of the doors never pushed in too much so your legs won't get hurt specially during long travels. The glove box compartment seemed more spacious than the last Nissan truck I drove so that's a good plus to this truck. It was now time to test drive the truck. Driving it was pretty smooth, no weird hiccups on the wheel or anything like that. The brake functioned properly, which is very important because I don't want to be in a truck barreling down the road with no brakes, an experience that I almost had with the old Nissan truck. Changing gears was effortless and non-distracting so you can simply relax and focus on the road. The backseat, when I tried sitting there as a passenger, was also much more comfortable than the Nissan truck because there was more space this time around. Everything else worked perfectly, the lights, radio, aircon, in other words it was good enough for us to buy! Months later, the Ford F-150 continued to serve us very well and the only times it had to go to the dealership was for the check-up. It never malfunctioned at all, so I'm happy with that! Ford F-150 is a great choice because of its reliability. That's my final opinion on this truck!

Hot and Cold
I have mixed feelings about my Ford F150. It was very nice to have a new vehicle after a couple years of driving an older vehicle, but I have been a little disappointed about some flaws with the vehicle. Though it is a higher trim level vehicle, it still seems cheaply made. After owning it less than a year, the seat adjuster button for the power drivers seat broke off. The window toggle sometimes has a mind of its own. Sometimes it goes all the way down on its own, and sometimes it tries to go back up when you want it down. The battery went out within the first couple months of ownership. It required a professional jump start and eventually a tow to the Ford dealer to replace the battery. The battery is some new, expensive kind, and took almost a week to get installed. Additionally, I just found out the truck has a main seal leak before its first year is even over. It does seem to run well and has a lot of horsepower for a V6 and gets 20-25 mpg even in the city. I can't complain about that. I enjoy getting the feel of a V8 in a V6. Not to mention the all aluminum body has resulted in only one door ding in the first year. It has made it through a few moderate hail storms with out dents.
