Solid economy car
I like this car more than the fords and dodges I have owned in the past. I purchased the car when it was one year old with one previous owner and low miles. I have had no issues regarding mechanical or cosmetic issues aside from the standard factory recommended maintenance which has been relatively inexpensive as I do most things myself. One thing I really enjoy about this vehicle is that the design and materials of the car all feel really solid. It doesn't seem cheap or chintzy to me at all. I've had no issues replacing the factory stereo with an aftermarket one although it was semi-difficult removing some of the dashboard trim to get access to the stereo. I live in an area of the US that frequently gets large amounts of snowfall and this car has had no issue getting around on snowy or icy roads. I could see it being difficult to drive if there was too much snow on the ground however as it doesn't not have a very high clearance level. One of my favorite things about the car is that it has enough room for me as I'm rather tall and gets very solid gas mileage.

Reliable with good gas mileage.
My Honda Civic is a car I bought after owning a Toyota Avalon for several years and having to pay $1500 for a major repair. So far my Civic is more than 10 years old and (knock on wood) still as reliable as ever. The hybrid engine gives me approximately 34 miles to the gallon, though it appears to get better mileage in the summer months. Many people have mentioned that their hybrid gets the same mileage in stop-and-go city driving as they do on the freeway. I've found my Civic gets much better mileage on the freeway, much like a non-hybrid. The seats are comfortable for larger size people. While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a newer vehicle, I plan to keep it for years to come.
