Honda CRV
Overall, I enjoy my Honda CRV and would recommend it to a friend or family member. I bought it from my mom, who had gotten it almost new in 2006. With regular maintenance, I haven't had any issues with the engine or running of the car. I also enjoy the perks such as the radio control on the steering wheel and the sunroof, as well as the good size. However, I wish the bumpers were sturdier and it had an alternative fuel source.

Excellent compromise between sedan and minivan
We purchased this CR/V when our 10 year old minivan (not a Honda vehicle) began to have problems with its electrical system, that numerous trips to repair shops failed to resolve. I loved the height of the minivan, but we didn't need that much seating on a regular basis, and a smaller SUV seemed like an excellent compromise. We've owned other Hondas (Civics) in the past and knew the brand to be reliable. It seats 5 reasonably comfortably, though 5 adults would result in a rather cramped back seat, and it holds a pretty good amount of luggage. The seats fold down and allow us to haul virtually anything we need, as well. We've now owned it for nearly 9 years, and continue to be very pleased. It has over 130,000 miles (our Civic has 180,000 miles). While there are minor quibbles (e.g. Honda is always behind the others in intermittent wiper technology; ours has only one intermittent speed), the only serious issue we've had is that the headlights burn out frequently - we have to replace them several times a year., I've never had any other car with that problem.
