I started leasing my car, a 2008 Honda CRV, in 2008, and in the spring of 2010, I purchased the car from the dealership. It made me feel extremely good to finally purchase the car and not make lease payments. I live in a place where I absolutely need a car to get around, and it is like my second home. I feel a very strong sense of ownership towards it. The CRV has been a great car. It’s fun to drive; I like the feeling of being high up yet still in a smaller car that it is easy to navigate. It has plenty of room to fit all of my friends and all of my things. I have had very few problems with it in the over 6 years and 100,000 miles I’ve put on the car. They are always promptly taken care of by the Honda dealership or easy fixes at a local repair shop. Gas mileage is pretty good, even by current standards. I can fill the car up for about $45 and the car takes regular gas. The car accelerates well for being somewhat of an SUV, and I feel very safe in it.

I want to drive this vehicle for the rest of my life.
The Honda CR-V is a solidly built and nimble SUV. It runs great every day. It is smaller than most SUVs and seats five but is really only comfortable for four. I love how easy it is to get into; no climbing up or crouching down. The interior is very comfortable and warm. The rear seats adjust to recline. All controls are easy to reach and adjust with center panel up high on the dashboard. It also has a truck - like feel as it is so sturdy and has a deep carpeted floorboard with deep rubber mats that hold a lot of snow and water. The CR-V handles easily. With it's short wheel base you can do a U-turn on most two-lane roads. Being small, it has it's limits in space. We have maxed it out with three people and three adult bicycles. One con is that it is nearly impossible to find a bike rack for three that works on the outside of the vehicle. We can remove the front wheels and fit the three bikes inside the back by dropping half the pass-through seat and still have room for a third person. It is great that the rear seat is in two sections. I also miss having a roof rack, or some kind of rails to attached things to on the roof; the CR-V has nothing on the roof. I have had no major repairs needed in the eight years.

The customer service was excellent. The buying process was quick and painless, and we left feeling as though we had gotten a good deal. Piazza helps us with any and all vehicular problems (there have been very few) for a low price.

Kenny Ross used cars stands out in my mind as one seriously crooked place to shop for used cars. If you want to get ripped off please do shop at Kenny Ross in Pittsburgh PA. What happened is this: I needed a car really bad and asked a pal to take me around to see the dealers in the area. It was raining and late at night, I did not have a choice about getting a car either since I had to drive a long way for work the next day or so. I ended up getting a repaired wrecked car without AC, even though the guy told me it had everything. It was too cold and wet to check on my own until I had it in a garage a couple days later. Too late by then. The dealer actually laughed at me when I asked him about all this a couple days later. Thieves is all Kenny Ross are. Avoid them, buying off of Craigslist is better in some ways. At least you know you are going to get cheated in some small ways like any private deal goes.
