My blue Tardis gets me where I need to go
My blue Hyundai Accent is a 2010 model that we (my mom and I) purchased in 2011. Initially, I thought the color was not attractive. I wanted a black car, but the cheery blue eventually won me over. My car is now nicknamed, "The Tardis," off of the TV show Doctor Who. The car has run very smooth since 2011, and it is now at 100,000. I seldom take my vehicle on the highway, so I think that contributed to the maintenance of my vehicle. I really like how I have a car that is the perfect size for my 5'1" stature. I have had no problem backing in and out of parking spots because the car is compact and easy to handle. It is only in the past 2 years that I've had to replace all 4 tires and do two major automotive fixes. For example, one major fix up was replacing a sensor that was important.

2010 Hyundai Accent
I really like my 2010 Hyundai Accent. I think it is a great compact car that is also roomy enough to take both short and longer trips in. It gets excellent gas mileage both in and out of the city, it runs very well, and handles like a dream. The seats are comfortable; however, they are difficult to clean. The console is not cluttered, and all of the buttons are easy to navigate while driving. The mirrors are a good size for the car and adjust well. The trunk space for the size of the car is a large size, and the car comes with a wheel well and spare tire as well as a jack set. The back seats fold down for more cargo room, and the center console is perfect for passengers wanting a place to put drinks and snacks on the road. The stereo gets good reception, and the speakers are loud enough. As far as maintenance, the car has only ever required the basic care, such as oil changes, new tires, and new brakes. There has not been any issues with the electrical system or any other car systems. There was a small issue with the wiring on one of the real lights, but that was easily fixed and there have been no issues since. Recently, the shocks did go bad on the right side, but more due to use and general wear and tear than a car issue. The car fits into compact spots and handles easily on both back roads and highways.
