Jeep Liberty pros/cons.
I own a 2004 Jeep Liberty with four-wheel drive. I purchased the Jeep Liberty after owning a Jeep Grand Cherokee for years and years. The Liberty is a good car, but the Grand Cherokee is the best! My Jeep Grand Cherokee had almost 300,000 miles on it and was still running good when I sold it. I purchased the Jeep Liberty because I needed to get something with better gas mileage, and I was told that the Liberty would be better gas mileage. But the truth is, it's not that different, and the difference in the comfort and extras on the Grand Cherokee far than make up the difference in the difference in gas mileage. If I remember right, the Grand Cherokee got anywhere from 12-14 miles per gallon, and the Jeep Liberty gets about 17-19 on a good day. Not enough to make up the difference, but the Liberty was lots more reasonable than a used Grand Cherokee in cost. In other words, I got the Liberty for about $7,000 used, and I couldn't find a used Grand Cherokee anywhere close to that price. Besides the gas mileage, I am okay with the Liberty, but I must admit that I was just spoiled with the leather seats that were heated, the moon roof, the automatic seats, the six CD changer, and the extra leg room. So like the old saying goes...you get what you pay for!

Great on-road/off-road vehicle
This vehicle has been the best car we have owned. It gets around well in snow and ice. It has 168,000 miles and is still going strong today. It gets fairly good gas mileage and uses very little oil between changes. It doesn't rust at all. The paint job still looks great. It gets around very well in rough terrain. It pulls our 12-foot trailer with our side by side on it with no lagging of the engine. I would recommend a Jeep Liberty to anyone that wants a trustworthy vehicle.

The personal service was excellent. They were friendly and open helping me get financing and answering any questions I had. The Jeep was exactly what they said it was and I have put over 125,000 miles on it and it is still going strong.
