Still on the edge
I bought this car to replace my 10 year old, reliable Honda. I went from a luxury sedan to a much smaller Mazda 3. That was hard to get used to. I feel the quality of the car body itself wasn't made with excellent standards in mind. The carpet is more of a felt material and impossible to vacuum clean. The seat cloth had fuzz balls within a month. The paint on the hood is chipping in multiple places. It feels as if it is made of plastic on the outside. The piece under my grill fell off while I was driving and almost caused an accident. Inside is not roomy in the least. I am 5 ft. 6 and there is just no way to get comfortable in this car. I can not imagine driving it if I were any taller. I originally bought it to drive for a few years and hand down to my son when he was 16 but he is already taller than I am and we are going to have to revise that plan now. I have to duck while I am getting out of the car, and if I have my hair in a bun too high on my head it is constantly knocked around by the ceiling. There is no lumbar support in the seat, which is a big negative for me because I spend many hours in this car a day. On a more positive note, I got a really good deal on this purchase and it seems to have held its value pretty well.

Fun city car
This is a fun, sporty car in a beautiful bright blue color that gets compliments all the time. It's nimble and responsive, and best of all it hasn't broken down on me a single time or needed expensive repairs, despite my being the third owner. Very dependable. The hatchback has a little button to push to open it and is fairly easy to close. The interior is spacious and comfortable, and the driver's side seat is relaxing and conforms well to my back, offering good support. I love the sun roof, which helps cool it down on a super hot day when I first get inside, letting all the hot air out. The interior plastic and leather has all held up well to frequent use and multiple owners. It has a multiple-CD sound system and BOSE speakers, with Sirius XM built in if you want it. All the controls are intuitive. The thing I love best about this is when I get back in my car, the Bluetooth to my phone starts working flawlessly without having to reconnect, so my podcasts just pick up where they left off. This is not the case in other more expensive cars I have ridden in.

They had the cars we were interested in, they took the hint not to pressure us, they let us do the test drive alone, when we showed them that we knew what certain values were for our current car and the one we were buying they did not fight us on it. The transaction went smoothly.
