Not super comfortable and not much power either.
The 2016 Nissan Versa (I have the hatchback version) is pretty roomy on the inside, which I like. I don't like the display on the dashboard very much. I think it is confusing. The one thing I do like about it is that if you have a mobile device you are plugging in -- either to use as a GPS/map or music playback -- the car syncs up very nicely with it which I have not experienced with some other cars. My iPhone works very well like this, and the car also comes with USB ports for charging a variety of devices. As far as the seats, they are not the most comfortable ever but aren't terrible either. One thing that has really bothered me about this car is that it does not have good acceleration/power. When merging onto the highway, pushing the gas pedal to the floor will still yield only mediocre acceleration time and power. This is a bit dangerous when trying to merge into oncoming traffic, and it makes the driving experience not nearly as enjoyable. The gas mileage is also not quite as good as one would hope from this type of compact car. Overall, I would say this car is mediocre -- with a few aspects of its performance and design that I don't like. However, I have not had any major maintenance issues with it.

Dependable ride
I bought this vehicle after comparing it to similar models of Hondas and Toyotas. The Versa was a far better value. It has been dependable, a prime concern as I rely on this vehicle to get anywhere; the area I live in has quite limited public transportation. It is good quality for the money and performs to my expectations. I like that it is manual transmission and sits higher than other vehicles in its class. It has a quiet ride, given that it is the economy version of a Nissan. The trunk is roomy; if I were to do it over, I would have chosen a hatchback. There are several cup holders, which is nice, and the back seat is roomy enough for adults to sit in.
