Zippy little big city car
I have an old Scion XA with now over 100k on it and it is still going. I've had no problems with it so far (knock on wood!). I've changed the spark plugs, put new tires on it and that's about it. The starter is just now starting to make a little squirrely noise but I think I can fix it myself. I like this car because it's not too complicated and I can putter around on it and not have to take it into the shop. It is a great little car to drive around the SF and not worry about finding a parking space. It is small enough that parking space is usually not a problem. When I fold the back seats down it becomes very spacious and I've transported a lot of furniture and weird odds and ends in it. If I could afford it, I'd buy this car brand new (or close to new). My model is a 2004. Gets great gas mileage if you go about 55- 60 mph and is super fun to drive. Not the car for everyone though. It doesn't have cruise control so it's not great for long drives. Not perfect for snow either but you could throw some snow chains on this and the front wheel drive should be good enough for most roads. Paint job is starting to go but it's always parked outside. Inside parts are starting to show wear but nothing major. All in all this is a good little car for city driving and running around town to get your errands done.

The fuel economy is amazing.
I love the gas mileage. I hate the strength of the engine. There have been hills I could not climb, its a horrible experience. It is a very light car, the wind can blow it easily than other cars I have driven. I love that the rear seats can be put down for more space. I have driven it across the country at least 10 times. Everything still works, including the AC! The speedometer is in the middle rather than in front of the driver which looks cool. It also had an aux import, which was amazing at the time.

I like the way the speed and radio are all in the middle of the console of the car. I like and dislike the car because of its size. I like it because it is so easy to park anywhere, but I dislike it because I feel like if I get in a car accident the car won't last. It is also not too roomy in the back seat for passengers. I work with kids so it is hard to have all my toys in the back seat!
