Great car.
Subaru is a great car company. The quality of workmanship is impeccable. It is well put together, runs well, handles well and, is a fun car to drive. The safety aspect is the number one reason I bought the car. I have severe neck and back issues, and the safety originally is what sold me. The handling of the car is amazing. It is responsive, I have the 6 cylinder, fast, and a pleasure to drive. The only con I have is the passenger seat is not a power seat like the driver. The AC could be better in the rear. It is comfortable to ride in for a long road trip as well. It is listed as a 5 passenger, it is really more comfortable for 4 adults. The 5th person is a bit squeezed in. I took two of my grandchildren on a trip and they did not complain about room or comfort. The trunk size is generous as well. Our dog rides there regularly. We had the safety gate installed over the rear seats, and it works great. The controls are easy to navigate and intuitive. They are also easy to see. Our model has the eyesight capability, which guarantees a safe stop in the event of a forward collision under 30 MPH. It saved my life once. Brought my car to a complete stop before I realized the vehicle was even there. Wonderful car overall. This is also my first Subaru.

Great on the road, beautiful look, and super reliable.
I love my Subaru Outback. It's large enough to fit all of my stuff (which is a lot) and then some! It came with a hitch for my bike rack, and the roof rack came with cross bars, which is awesome for travel and adventures in the future. I can also fold the seats down and sleep in the back if I don't want to set up a tent while camping. The drive is amazing also. Although it could get better gas mileage, the way it hugs the road in rain is amazing, and I feel extremely safe. If I were to get in a car accident, I am extremely confident that I will be okay. The air conditioning could be better, as if it were only in the front. Some people complain about the back having difficulty heating up/cooling down. However, I mostly drive alone or with one other passenger so at this point in my life I'm not super concerned. This will be something I think about for future when I have a family. I think the sound is great, but I have heard concerns about getting it in the back too. Overall safety and room is my favorite part of the car. Eventually I plan to great a smaller car but still in the Subaru family, but this car will be great for family too once I settle down.
