Comfortable safe family vehicle
The 2010 Toyota Highlander comfortably seats seven. We have had three car seats and four adults in ours and were all comfortable and safe in our seats. The bench seat is surprisingly comfortable as well, not just a flat seat, high head rests and some contour to the seating. The middle row has the option of a removable middle seat and adding armrests to become captains chairs. Heated front seats and air conditioning vents in the front and back add to the comfort of the vehicle, as well as rear temperature controls. Knowing my family is safe in this SUV with full side curtain airbags, in addition to regular front airbags, adds to the peace of mind of having my family travel in the vehicle. The reliability of a Toyota also adds to the comfort and value. We've had no issues and maintain regular vehicle maintenance on the car. Although the interior of the car is spacious, the car itself is not exceptionally oversized. It drives as easily as a midsize car, including parking and backing out. Backing out safely is assisted by the rear backup camera, another feature that adds peace of mind when driving the Highlander. My family loves outdoor activities. My husband is an avid fisherman and can fit several fishing poles along the middle of the vehicle without reaching into the front seat area. Although our SUV is not 4x4, it performs well on gravel roads and some easier off road situations. We are not climbing mountains in our car, but we also feel comfortable driving off of pavement. All-in-all we love our Toyota Highlander and plan on replacing it with another, newer model, when we are ready for a new vehicle in a few years. Knowing that our car is in great shape, reliable and maintains good resale value is one reason we are in no hurry to trade in. The Highlander is a great fit for our family of 4 along with room for a few friends or family members.

Our Toyota Highlander is the perfect car for our lifestyle!
I love our Toyota Highlander. We live in Colorado, where weather can be volatile. It handles great in any weather that comes at us, including ice and sleet. It is large enough that we can fit all four of our kids comfortably and still have room for my nephew when we need to pick him up. The car is a hybrid and gets great mileage around town. It handles beautifully on our trips across Kansas and Missouri to see relatives in St. Louis. Although trunk space is very limited when we have the back row upright, when we have that back seats down, it allows for huge amounts of room. We were able to make a minimal number of trips when moving because of this. The car is reliable, and we have never had any real issues with it, other than the motor going out on a window. This car is perfect for every aspect of our lives.
