RAV 4
A great car, well made and very comfortable to drive. My wife likes the height, which makes it easy to see over other traffic and makes her feel more secure. The gas mileage isn't great, but it is very powerful and nimble--essential for driving in Southern California.

Very Well Made
My Rav4 has been in my family since 2008 and still looks as good as new. The car itself has almost 150,000 miles on it and has had no major mechanical repairs to the engine or drive train. The interior still looks very good, the only damage is a few cracks in the seat leather. The car itself has a large trunk and the back seat folds down to allow it to have the same capacity as most other large SUV's. One of the best features is the hidden compartment underneath the trunk carpet. There's a small trap door that opens up and has space for gear such as windshield washer fluid or a blanket or can be used as a space to store a few extra groceries bags when your car is packed. The only downside to the vehicle is that replacement parts are expensive. After a minor accident a side panel had to be replaced and it cost almost double what a similar Ford panel would've cost. Also, Toyota dealerships often charge high prices for work and I'd recommend taking it to a smaller repair shop instead of the dealer.
