VW Beetle Expensive to Maintain
The VW New Beetle has been my dream car since I was a little girl, but after I bought it, it turned into a nightmare. The Final Edition Beetle is definitely cute and fun to drive. However, maintenance on the Beetle was ridiculously expensive. It cost me about $300 to replace the headlights, because you had to replace them at a dealership - a car shop could not do it and there was no way to do it myself. Also, the headlights went out once a year. Even the oil changes were more expensive than a usual car. I bought it "certified used" which is a joke because it had so many issues with it from the jump. Also, it had white seats that got dirty no matter how much you cleaned them.

Reliable but expensive parts
This car is very reliable, which is a good thing because when something does go wrong, it's very expensive to replace. That being said, it rarely happens. Gas mileage is acceptable and it's roomier than you'd expect. All in all, a good car for the price.

I love my bug
I’ve always liked Slug Bugs. Having one was my dream car since I was in middle school, and then I finally got one. I’m not a car girl: I don’t care about specs or speed; I want my car to be safe and work. The fact the car is awesome looking is the added bonus. I’ve had problems with it about once a year, mostly electrical. But it goes when I tell it to go, and gets me where I need to go.
