My husband's family has bought cars from this dealership for the last 6 or so years. They have good warranties and seem to genuinely care about getting you a deal. The banks they recommend however, don't exactly have the best interest rates. But I suppose I should have researched that better

Charleston, SC Driving Tips
I would advise drivers in Charleston to avoid driving straight down Market Street whenever possible. There are some beautiful side streets where you won't have as much of an issue with large amounts of pedestrians. There's usually a back way to get to the public parking lots located in the Market area. It's not just pedestrians though - be aware of horse drawn carriages that tend to slow down traffic on the main stretches!
Charleston, SC Buying Tips
There are lots of car dealerships in the areas surrounding downtown Charleston. Many dealerships can be found in Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, and North Charleston. There are also CarMax and Enterprise Car Sale locations nearby, which offer used car sales at fair prices. Most of the dealerships in each of those parts of Charleston are located very close to one another, so you can go from one to the other easily.
Favorite driving memory
My favorite Charleston driving memory just happened this past June. It was a sad weekend, as the victims of the Charleston Church Shooting were being laid to rest. I was driving from Johns Island to downtown Charleston, when the intersection I was approaching was closed by several officers in uniform. A fire truck pulled around to keep cars from cutting through a parking lot. President Obama was due to land at the Air Force Base, but hadn't touched down yet, so I wasn't sure what to think. Just then a friend called me to tell me that Vice President Biden was staying out on Kiawah Island (just on the other side of Johns Island) for the weekend, and that he would also be attending the funeral of Reverend Pinckney. A few moments later, it became clear that the reason for the traffic stoppage was to allow Mr. Biden's motorcade through. I was the first car stopped in line, so not only did I get to watch the motorcade pass, but I also wasn't too far behind as we traveled towards downtown.
Favorite road
Hasell Street. Hasell Street is the most beautiful street in the city of Charleston, in my opinion. Other streets get all the attention, like Rainbow Row on East Bay Street. But on Hasell (pronounced Hazel), there are so many beautiful homes, surrounded by gorgeous trees and the smell of fresh jasmine in the Spring! The homes are traditional Charleston style, but tend to be more brick on this street, rather than the light colored, painted homes typical in Charleston artwork and photos. When traveling on Hasell, you aren't far off from the center of Charleston, where all of the restaurants, shopping, and tourist attractions are. But you certainly don't feel like you're in the midst of tourist country!

Use your blinkers and always be aware of the needs of the other drivers. They will be just as accommodating to you.
Charleston, SC Buying Tips
The best way to buy a car in this city would be to look on google for the best places. I have not bought a car in this city myself. I have only driven through this city. The city I live in here in SC is not on the list of available cities to choose from so I chose the only one available I have actually driven through.
Favorite driving memory
My first time driving through this city was a pass through on my way to another location. It was easy to get confused on the roads as they divided in strange ways. lane changes were a constant. While traveling the speed limit looking for the next exit it is not apparent that it is on the opposite side of the road until you are within a close enough distance to see the off ramp. there is a lot of traffic and changing lanes to get into the correct one was a harried experience but what makes this a favorite memory is that the drivers in this city are polite which seems to be a disappearing art form in recent years. They seen my problem and my blinker. crossing over 4 lanes of traffic traveling at 65 mph is an art in itself and to have had drivers wave me across and allow me to get into the correct lane was an experience I take with me every time I drive now and make sure it is one I pay forward as well.
Favorite road
I95. It is great only because of the people in this city being as ki8nd and friendly and accommodating as they are. The roads themselves are also well taken care of not a pot hole in the area at all. I have driven through many cities in my travels but this is one of the least stressful with a large flow of traffic.
