Greensboro, NC Driving Tips
It is very easy to get lost in Greensboro. But never fear its easy to learn your way around. I would recommend not paying attention to where your going so you will learn something new. You can find a lot of hidden gems and hole in the wall places that will not disappoint you.
Greensboro, NC Buying Tips
A car is not really necessary for Greensboro. Greensboro has public transportation such as busses and taxi's. You can easily ride a bike, because every side and section has a shopping center near to homes and apartments. If you were really wanting a car I would suggest using car gurus. Or car max because they have any and every car there is.
Favorite driving memory
My favorite memory of driving in Greensboro was, when I had first moved to Greensboro. I did not know the area at all, and I had never driven in a big city like Greensboro. I was looking for an apartment, and in Greensboro not to many apartments are right on the main roads, there off on little side roads. I remember driving around for hours at a time and getting lost and trying to figure out where I was. I am now very grateful for getting lost. If I would never had gotten lost then I would have never learned the city like I did. I know there's usually more then one way to get to a certain area. If there is road construction going on I know there is another route to get me there without losing precious time.
Favorite road
High Point Rd.. I like High Point Rd, because its got a lot of places to eat at. I also like it because you can get from by the mall to downtown in a single straight shot without having to drive all over the place. It also has the mall and movie theater on High Point Rd. It has a lot of places to shop. It also has the coliseum and the aquatic center on it to. It has places for the kids to have fun, and also places for adults to. I like the diverse section of apartments to.

Greensboro, NC Driving Tips
I would say keep your eyes open and be cautious. Watch out for people switching lanes without using a turn signal and for people driving over the suggested speed limit. I would say to be prepared to drive over the speed limit to a degree to keep up with traffic.
Greensboro, NC Buying Tips
If you live in Greensboro, NC, I would suggest going to buy a car on High Point Rd near where it crosses I40 to buy a car because there are several dealers there. I would suggest getting a mid-size or larger car simply for the safety factor. I would also suggest considering buying a car that is good on gas mileage because the city is pretty spread out and there is a lot of stop-and-go traffic to deal with.
Favorite driving memory
Driving in Greensboro, NC can be challenging. I usually drive on Wendover Ave or on I40 through Greensboro or when I have business there. Both routes require intense focus. Drivers in this area do not use turn signals regularly and move across several lanes of traffic swiftly sometimes without using signals. To be fair, there is a lot going on with these roads. Traffic is heavy, on and off ramps are usually not long enough for merging. I always try to use caution when driving in these areas.
Favorite road
Wendover Ave. I prefer Wendover Avenue to I40 to move across Greensboro because there are stoplights on this road, which limits speed somewhat. There are more turnoffs on Wendover than there are on I40. Also, something I really like is the fact that although Wendover does have on/off ramps in some places, it also has regular street intersections at some places too. That way, if traffic is really heavy and I feel uncomfortable merging into traffic, I can use a side road to get to one of the streets that meets Wendover at an intersection and get into traffic much more easily.
