I like the size of the MDX and the fact that it has a third row that can be brought up or left down. The large trunk lets my family go on vacations and fit all of our suitcases. Additionally, the features such as the Navigation system are very useful. The car has over 100,000 miles on it, and I have never experienced any major issues.
Story
I am from the Bay Area and I have a friend who lives down in Burbank. So one day I got up at six in the morning and drove the 300+ miles down on I5 to visit her for the weekend because we both didn't have much to do, and it was supposed to rain in the Bay Area. Then when it was supposed to rain in Burbank we took the car down to San Diego for the day!
Pros
Reliability. Previously, I had a 1994 Saturn which was very unreliable and would break all the time, but I haven't had any problems with the Acura. Additionally, my family and I agree that out of all the cars we have driven, the Acura has the best navigation system.
Cons
Paint chips fairly easily and side mirrors don't fold up.

The Acura MDX is a great car for fitting a large family. We can seat 7 with ample leg room! The one drawback to having the third row seating is that with the seats in use it leaves trunk room to be desired. We can fit 1 stroller folded up in the back and not much else. Though for camping trips we have an amazing roof rack that we have the option of attaching a shell to for more gear room. I like that the car accelerates quickly up to speed on the freeway. This model has a pull down did player that keeps the kids busy on long rides. There's rear AC vents to keep the back half of the vehicle cool. I love the seats are leather for easy wipe down.
Story
At grocery outlet with the back seats down I was able to pleasantly fit 300 dollars worth of groceries in without a hassle.
Pros
Rear A/C, seats 7, accelerates quickly, leather seats and roof rack.
Cons
Lack of trunk space.

No less than three dedicated customer service employees working the office while the mechanics are doing their thing. Courtesy cars couldn't be easier to use. I brought in my 2002 Acura RSX because of a check engine light. (nb: the diagnostic test is between $50-60.) AHC explained the service needed clearly and in a non-condescending way. Fixed some smaller things while they were at it, like replacing the battery in my key fob. The bulk of the fee was for parts; labor fee was reasonable for SV. Told me the car should be ready by the afternoon, and it was. This was my test-run for a place, not the dealership, which has become ridiculously expensive. I feel pretty good about bringing my car back when it's time for the 100,000 m. service.

Recently got our new car from this place. 3-stars because their prices were amazing and we got a great deal. But the wait time afterwards was a bit longish. We were told initially that the manager who will sign off the paper work would need another 25-30 minutes to finish up with a client. But after waiting for 3 hours, I ended up taking my son back home so that he could sleep, and my wife stayed behind for another 1.5 hours to finish the paper work. At the end of the night, we got our car. But it was quite some work, but totally worth it!
