I leased this car at 100,000 miles, and it is in great running condition. In addition to being one of the best looking Acuras of its time, the interior was comfortable and attractive. I have always received compliments on how well it looked and the quality of the drive. This car has some horsepower and is fun on long drives and highways. I am reluctant to give it a five-star rating due to the outdated technology and due to the fact that there are a few transmission problems here and there. The gas mileage could be better, and the insurance for this car is a lot higher for what I'd like to spend, due to its "premium" rating.

For starters, it recycles the full-hybrid blueprints already used in its bigger brothers, the latest Accord Hybrid and Clarity Plug-In hybrid, but simply shrunk everything to about 75 percent scale. The gas engine is a 107-hp 1.5-liter four-cylinder (Atkinson cycle, naturally) with its crankshaft offset to decrease rubbing friction. Most of the time, it spins a generator to energize a 129-hp traction motor.
