My 2008 Acura TL is the best car I've ever owned. I bought it used at over 120,000 miles when it was six years old, and it's still going strong at over 160,000 miles and nearly 10 years old. It has always performed very well and hasn't had any major issues.
Story
During a bad snowstorm, I had to climb a fairly steep hill in order to get home from work. The road I was on had not been plowed or treated yet and was very slippery and icy. I could see several cars in front of me struggling, and most of them finally gave up and turned around to go back down the hill. However, given that I had good tires, the ability to turn off traction control and a low-... (more)
Pros
Reliability. Even at high miles, this car hasn't had a single major issue. The interior components all still work, which seems remarkable given its age and the amount of miles on it. The engine still starts and runs like a car at least half its age and a third of its mileage.
Cons
It doesn't have the greatest gas mileage compared to more modern cars of its class, but it also has a naturally-aspirated 3.2 liter V6, so that's to be somewhat expected. Still, in the nearly four years I've owned it, I've managed to get a combined 27 mpg (mostly highway driving), which while not fantastic, still isn't terrible. The only real gripe I have with the design is that the back seats don't fold down. There is a (very) small door that can be opened that leads back into the trunk, but this only allows very thin long items to be put in through the trunk, making it a bit less prac... (more)

Acura did it right with this mid-range price and size of a family sedan. This Acura TL is on the small spectrum of a family sedan. Mine was a silver with a black leather interior and sunroof options. The quickness when touching the gas pedal was amazing when going from 0 to 60 was impressive for not being a sports car.
Story
Took this on a trip up the East coast to hit all the great beaches from Virginia to the tip of Florida.
Pros
Pros include an amazing sound system for a moderate-size family sedan. The Bose system included in this car puts the music into the bones of your body and you don't even have to up the volume too much. Driving this car through fun curves on a country road is great with the sunroof off. Gas mileage is great for this as with any kind of Acura, and you'll be spoiled by how much you'll save.
Cons
The few cons this car has is if you are an overly tall person. This is meant for an average-size person. Over 6 feet you may feel uncomfortable. Con is that we had to get a new transmission on it at 138,000 miles on it.

The hours were very nice, because with a busy schedule, you can go later in the day. The staff was very helpful, and not pushy. They gave you the information, and a fair price, but did not pressure you into making a final purchase. Being a college student, you always hear ads and have people constantly pitching you ideas and enforcing their ideals. Blaise Alexander however allowed you to be yourself and think for yourself.

Growing up in Philadelphia, my family has actually driven and purchased Acura vehicles from this same dealership since the mid-90s and has always been satisfied with their services. I myself bought an Acura from them back in 2010 with no hassle and a very streamlined buying process. They have always been honest and straightforward and never lived up to the general stereotype of most car dealerships.
