This vehicle drives extremely smoothly and is the crown jewel to lower end luxury cars in my mind. It is quick and fast, offering great suspension and steering. Probably the most bang for your buck that you could get in this class of car.

This car is great, it has some power and its quality The A4's as new cars from 2003-2005 were all reliable cars with decent ratings when they were new. Now that they are 11-7 years old, what they were when new is largely irrelevant. Now what matters is the service history of the specific car you are considering. You need to look at the Carfax report and the entire service history of the car as well as have a Pre Purchase Inspection performed by a trusted and reputable Audi/VW tech.
