I have owned them all. AMX's, Z's ,911's, Bimmers, CLK's , and currently an A3 and S2000. This next to the 911's and S2000 is the best looking car on the road bar none. A car that doesn't change it's look doesn't get dated.
This is a great second car of not much use for an empty nester house wife. S5 makes more sense because at least its a sports car. Way too many options and color choices offered in Europe and not the US making me feel like I got hyped. As if I'm not worthily of a different wood option or saddle leather seats with the sport pack. Buyer's remorse. I'm not sure who this car is meant for. I really wanted a TT but you can't buy the 6spd manual in the US so I settled for this. It is pretty, but looks too much like an A4 and feels like one too.

The 2014 Audi A5 is rather fuel-efficient for its class, but the sportier S5 and RS5 trade speed for gas mileage.
Had this car for four years and then moved up to an S5. The only thing lousy on it was the microphone for the telephone. I could hear people great but they could not hear me well due to too much road noise. This problem was solved in the new model by putting the microphone in the seat-belt.
