2007 BMW 3 Series - Reliable car with plenty of room

My vehicle is nothing fancy but perfectly functional, with plenty of room and gives a smooth, reliable ride. There have been a few repairs that have needed to be made, but after 8 years, I have more than 170K miles on the vehicle and for the mileage driven, the maintenance and repair costs have been low. A few recalls have also been announced, but Toyota has always provided very good service in getting those repair and I never had issues with the recall issue. Overall, the car is attractive in design, with plenty of space inside (leg room) and in the trunk. It rides smooth and runs quietly and over the years has needed fewer the average repairs (in my opinion/experience).
Story
My friends and I have taken the vehicle on many a road trip - from Northern Virginia, we have traveled to central and western Pennsylvania, Nashville, Tennessee and to the Outer Banks, North Carolina.
Pros
The amount of room within the vehicle is always commented on positively by passengers. I enjoy driving the vehicle - the seat is comfortable and the control and ride is very smooth. The speaker system, radio and 6 disk CD changer is great. No major issues with the vehicle outside of regular, to-be-expected maintenance items (with the exception of leaky struts).
Cons
One of my least favorite things about the car is the lack of rear vents, so during very hot and very cold days, the front vents must provide heat and AC to the entire car, which doesn't much affect the driver but can affect the comfort of passengers in the back seat. Also, the struts of the vehicle are leaky - I've been told that by several mechanics. Perhaps because of the struts or for other reasons, the vehicle eats oil quickly - I usually have to add at least 2 quarts of oil between oil changes (I change the oil every 5K miles).

2002 BMW 3 Series - Great, reliable first car.

I purchased my 2002 BMW 330i in July of 2015. It is my very first car. My brother and I went in together on purchasing it. I have learned how to drive with it. It is very fun and easy to drive. It is a small, compact car, which is what I was wanting, but you have plenty of room for all sorts of things.
Story
While I was learning how to drive on back roads around my county, there was a squirrel that kept crossing in front of me in the exact same spot. He would raise up on his back legs, put his little arms together like he was praying, then dart across the road in front of my vehicle.
Pros
Very fun, fast, and reliable little car. Extremely fun to drive.
Cons
Mine can be moody. Sometimes the key does not want to unlock the doors or the windows do not want to roll down. There is also an annoyingly loud and shrill chirping sound coming from the air vent at times.

The dealer was relatively clean and the financing terms were great for a person like me.
