2007 BMW 3 Series - Wonderful car to drive.
I liked the styling of the vehicle, it looked great. the interior was comfortable and had great features.
Story
Driving up into the mountains was a great time. The car as fun to drive on the windy roads.
Pros
Engine was powerful and gave me plenty of pick up and speed, styling was sharp, interior was comfortable, leather was soft, mirrors electronically folded, mirrors tilted to assist with parallel parking, headlights were bright and were adaptive, plenty of trunk space, sport seats were very comfortable.
Cons
Back seat was small, suspension was hard, low to the ground, back up camera would have been nice, navigation was just ok.
1995 BMW 3 Series - Best car I've ever owned in my life
I bought this car from a BMW dealer in New Jersey because my employer had a deal with them for an additional $2,000 off list price. I was looking for a "used" BMW, and this 1995 318i with 150,000 miles on it caught my eye because it was so clean. The engine was clean, the interior was clean and the ride was smooth and quiet. I've now owned it for an additional 100,000 miles, and it still runs as smooth and quiet as when I bought it, gets 30+ mpg on the highway and it's had minimal maintenance expense these past eight years I've owned it. The best car, used or otherwise, I've ever bought.
Story
I've three times driven it from my home in Boston to my parents in St. Louis and then on to my kids in KC. Twice I've returned visiting friends in Chicago or upstate New York. It's just a great long-distance driving car. So comfortable that I never felt tired. It is roomy enough for a small sedan. My wife and I are still friends along the way and great gas mileage with a lot of power on the ro... (more)
Pros
Clean car, quiet ride, 30+ mpg gallons on the highway/26+ mpg in the city, dependable, solid, sturdy and very economic.
Cons
Getting parts for the car is sometimes hard. I had to replace the radiator, and there weren't any in Boston, so they had to order a replacement from BMW overseas, so it was hard to replace.
