While clearing up my debt, I shopped around looking for an affordable transportation but also reliable enough to get me moving throughout the week. Through a network of friends, I found a BME 320i with only one owner, red metallic body and a good sound system. The test ride with an expert friend revealed the engine was working fine, and the steering proved comfortable. Everything for a $800 price.

I've owned the vehicle for 5 years. It had about 10,000 miles when I received it, so it was already broken in. I have all of the options except for the assisted driving options, so there are a lot of wonderful features. However, there were quite a few "bugs" at the beginning which meant that I was running to the dealership a lot for repairs. The upside was that BMW has a four year maintenance plan, and as a CPO, I have a two year extension on repairs for $50 a piece. This has involved everything from a failing fuel injector (recall and fixed for free), multiple oil leaks, (fixed for $50 under CPO) and a plethora of other minor issues that I cannot recall at this moment. At the same time, it IS the ultimate driving machine. It is a smooth, fast sports car with the sports suspension, 330 HP twin turbo, so when it kicks, it takes off. I love the power.
