While clearing up my debt, I shopped around looking for an affordable transportation but also reliable enough to get me moving throughout the week. Through a network of friends, I found a BME 320i with only one owner, red metallic body and a good sound system. The test ride with an expert friend revealed the engine was working fine, and the steering proved comfortable. Everything for a $800 price.
Story
One week after buying it, Dad called me to tell me he would be visiting me soon. Even though the airport is farther than my usual commute distance, I withheld the urge to rent a car and decided to use mine to pick him up...I was very proud and Dad was very happy!
Pros
I was not looking specifically for a rear-wheel drive vehicle, just an affordable one, but upon driving the BMW in rain or snow, it proved more consistent and safe than any front-wheel drive vehicle I have tried before. The heating system was a salvation for me in the winter. The car also has a sizable trunk than becomes helpful for doing favors to your friends, i.e., moving.
Cons
Because of the wear and tear related maybe with age, I eventually ended up replacing the whole wiring for the lighting system. Police would pull me over every now and then because of a missing tail light, parking light or front light going off. After checking bulbs and replacing fuses, I found almost all cables defective.

This vehicle is top-notch. I bought it to drive in the snow and it handled the winter driving very well. It is very reliable, strong, quiet and solid. It is not like the Japanese cars I owned in the past. This is luxury, well built, great engine and drives very nice. I thought this SUV would be a gas guzzler but to my surprise, it is not. I would say comparing to my Honda, the BMW eats up a little more gas but overall, I would say it's not bad at all.
Story
Taking it to the mountain to go skiing. It is wonderful. It drives nicely and didn't teat up gas.
Pros
Reliability. It is solid and well built. The engine is very superior. It is comfortable, luxurious and not cheap looking.
Cons
Now for the cons, I am a little worried about not having a spare tire. I was told that if something were to go wrong with the tires, I would be able to drive it for about 50 miles to the nearest service station. I am a bit concerned about that. Also, I am worried that it would be costly to get anything fixed. Right now things are going fine but I know BMW parts are expensive and the services are too. It seems to be very difficult to get anyone to look at it because either they don't have the tools or they can't do it for some reasons. I ended up having to take it to the dealership a couple... BMW dealerships, and this one in particular, don't seem to "nickel and dime" customers. Their sales associates seem to have much more room to negotiate with the customer. At this dealership, the facility is top-class and extremely comfortable.

I really liked this dealership because they were nice and caring. My windshield wipers didn't work at first, but they fixed it for me for free than sold it to me. It was a great experience, they were nice and helped me out the whole time. The miles were low and it was great overall i would give it a 5/5.
