2011 BMW 3 Series - Great but expensive
My BMW is a great car overall. Everything about its build is quality. The engine is a smooth buttery inline six with tons of power. The interior of the car is very modern for a 2011 car. One downside is the price of the repairs and up keep. BMW charges a 120 dollars just for an oil change. So I do most up keep myself to keep price down.
Story
I get compliments about the car from people a lot, but one time a kid yelled from across a gas station parking lot to compliment it.
Pros
The car is fast; it's very fast. It's comfortable. It rides smooth and it surrounds in a blanket of comfort. The seats just take you in. The exterior of the car is very attractive too.
Cons
The bad things about this car are that it pops warning lights for anything and everything. Also, the bad thing about this car is that it cost a lot to fix almost anything. Way more than it should. The insurance on the car is quite high as well.
2007 BMW 3 Series - Great to drive, expensive to maintain
I love the 2007 BMW 328xi, it is by far one of the most fun cars to drive, the engine is fast and easy to drive. The heated seats are amazing and the car compared to other similar luxury vehicles is fuel efficient. The car is however extremely expensive to maintain, expect to spend close to a $1000 a year just on regular maintenance.
Story
On I-80 in Pennsylvania, I drove the car at 155 mph
Pros
The car is extremely fuel efficient for a luxury sports car, it gets 28 mpg highway and 22 mpg city. It is fun to drive and is all wheel for additional stability. The car has a dynamic traction control option for a more sporty option. Living in Michigan, the heated seats are amazing.
Cons
The car is extremely expensive to maintain, the smallest expense can be extremely costly and paying for premium gas gets old quickly.
