The 2011 BMW 328I convertible is overall a fairly good car. However, if you are looking for something with a bit more power, I would highly recommend stepping up to the 335I, as both cars have the exact same styling. However, the 335I has 300 hp and 300 lb. ft. of torque verses the 328I 230 hp and 200 lb. ft. of torque. Styling is very pleasing to the eye, and overall build quality is pretty good. The addition of the convertible hard top is a great improvement over the previous models cloth convertible top. One of the features I would highly recommend is the iDrive system. Not only does this provide a navigation system, it also adds many features to the information presented to the driver. One major draw back to not having the iDrive system is that you can pair your smart phone to the ... (more)
Story
I love to put the top down and take a quick drive down highway 1 on the California coast.
Pros
Convertible hard top is a great feature. Keeps the wind noise at the same level you would expect in any non convertible and retracts with the push of a button.
Cons
Lack of power. If your looking for more power, spring for the 335I.

I have driven 15,000 miles and there are no interior or exterior issues. Build quality is high. The interior leather materials are also of rich quality and BMW Maps Navigation is very helpful. There is a pass-through from back seat to the trunk which allows you to accommodate longer things.
Story
We had been through awesome long drives with our Convertible Sports car. We used to enjoy the weather and could see and enjoy the tallest building even while sitting in the car with top open, in the downtowns. Just enjoyed even the fireworks sitting in the car .
Pros
Open top convertible, smooth rides, comfort without any shakes even on freeways, luxury, style look, driving made easy, adaptive cruise control.
Cons
Maintenance is a burden. Too expensive. Little bit compact at the back side seats.

The staff were really friendly. I was really surprise on how great the customer service was despite the 3 star rating. The sales professional game me great knowledge and information on deciding the BMW that I chose to buy. I had a great pleasant experience there. I feel like I was treated as a VIP member there. I never regretted my decision on the car I bought because it turned out to be what I expect and also what the staff said.

I was shopping for a car, my credit is not very good at all, so I was limited. Saw a car I liked and shopped around. I thought I found a good deal elsewhere - I was wrong. Luckily no harm was done and I was back here at Shaw's due to the great service I got the first time. I did end up paying a bit more - but this car was 2 years newer - win! Also, it was due for a timing belt change according to the miles and I was willing to pay for that and these guys totally made it right. The car ended up needing some other things done and it was all done at the same time with no cost to me aside from the timing belt that I agreed to. So far so good. Definitely not your typical used car dealership. You are not going to please everyone, but these guys do what they can and that goes a long way in my... (more)
