This car has gotten me through countless trips, whether it be to the grocery store or a spontaneous trip across states. Fuel tank is pretty good, I'm able to go a while without constantly filling up the tank. The gear shift is a little tricky to get used to at first and the cup holders don't have the most convenient sizes. Still has a cassette player, but my boyfriend bought me a Bluetooth connector which has done wonders. Seats are comfortable enough that every passenger can easily fall asleep during a long ride. It's been a reliable vehicle, only problem I had was the windshield wipers getting messed up due to ice.
Story
When I started college I realized that every single one of my friends had the same car, which was a hilarious coincidence. When we got everyone together to go to Pittsburgh, we were in matching cars on the highway.
Pros
It's definitely the reliability of the car, it's a 2001 car that's still chugging along without trouble. The air conditioner and heating still work just fine, runs smoothly, and I haven't had to take it into the shop for anything big.
Cons
I had a really tough time with the gear shift at first, I didn't like the location being behind the wheel at all. I also hated the cassette tape for a while but getting Bluetooth has helped with that a lot. Other than that, it's really not a troublesome car.

It's a 2004 Buick Century. It cost $2,000. I don't know how many miles it has on it because the odometer has never worked. It was alright at first but then had overheating problems. Then the axle broke on it, and it cost $500 to have that repaired. Now it's down again with what I think is a broken water pump. Also, this winter made the rust com out. Oh, and the power steering stopped working.
Story
Driving with my friends listening to music. I'm a bit old for fun memories in a junky car.
Pros
Not many. It gets OK mileage. It's comfortable. It has a moon roof. All the power windows work. I guess I should be thankful for that. Lots of space. That's about it.
Cons
As I stated above, one of the axles broke, and it cost a lot to fix it. The power steering just stopped working one day. I'm not even trying to have that fixed. I don't have the money for that. I think the water pump just died, so it's in the shop right now getting repaired. The rust has come out real bad below the doors to the point where I don't know if it's going to pass inspection. Also, I think the auto mechanic had to do some welding to the frame while he was fixing the broken axle. I don't know how the frame could've gotten damaged but it did.
