A broken down, hopeless, hoopty
I got this off a friend who was looking to get a new vehicle. Not only was the car past its prime, it nearly passed being functional. The steering was messed up such that it could barely turn. The A/C was always breaking down, and during the summers in the south, this was absolutely brutal. Lowering the windows does almost nothing unless you're on the highway, but the scorching, cracked, faux-leather seats were probably the nicest touch. In some ways, I'll miss this piece of crap when it's gone but not much. It gets towed if I leave it out in front of the place where I live because some 'concerned citizen' doesn't like the look of it.

Long lasting, but flashy
The vehicle has traveled over 250,000 miles and is still going. She does not have a lot of acceleration or snazzy features, but it is extremely durable and well priced. Think of the car as a plow horse or pack mule - always getting the job done.
