Buick Regal Owner Ratings & Reviews

2006 Buick Regal - It is a good car.
The car is good on gas and mileage. It requires very little upkeep. The car rarely has service issues. The car is affordable. It is built well for safety. The car has nice interior. The outside of the car looks nice. The car is a bit small but a nice medium size. I think most people would enjoy this car. The vehicle is a solid structure. The vehicle has a nice weight to it. The vehicle breaks well in traffic. It has a good safety rating. The sound system is nice. The paint job looks good in the day and night. The lights are powerful and work well in bad weather. The vehicle is easy to start and rarely ever needs a new battery. The energy is conserved well in the car. It does not require much maintenance. Overall it is a very nice cheap and well made vehicle that most people would enjoy... (more)
Story
I took my family on a trip and it was fun. The car was very reliable it didn't need but one stop for gas on a long journey.
Pros
It has good mileage with gas and hardly no upkeep.
Cons
The car is a bit small.
1993 Buick Regal - It's been a good car. By the time I got it, it was already 19 years old and had a lot of miles on it, but it has never let me down (other than having to have the water pump replaced.
This was my son's car. He had bought it used some years back, and when he was ready to upgrade to a newer car, he gave me the Buick. He had had to rebuild the motor (he did it himself, with the help of his father-in-law), but other than the fact that two of the power windows no longer work (front passenger, driver side rear), it has doe really well post-rebuild.
This car still looks good after more than twenty years. While some may consider it a "grandma" car, it has a sporty-enough look to it that makes it perfectly suitable for someone younger. It has a sunroof and luggage rack on the trunk. It is equipped with air conditioning, it, too, no longer works.
It is equipped with leather seats and provides a very comfortable ride, both city and driving. The gas mileage isn't great, and ... (more)
Story
No fun stories, necessarily, but for a while I was going through some outpatient surgeries and my son and his wife (when the car still belonged to them) would take me to my surgery appointments (200 mile round trip) in the car. I can remember a number of times sleeping in the back seat (still doped up from my outpatient surgeries) as my son drove.
Pros
The comfort. It is a very comfortable ride and travels smoothly down the country roads and especially on the freeway.
Cons
The not so great mileage, but for a car of its age, the number of miles, and the less than dedicated maintenance by its current owner (me), that is probably understandable.
