2014 Cadillac DeVille - Love this vehicle.
This is one classy car with all of the perks that you probably didn't know exist if you haven't bought a new car recently! Physically, the exterior of the vehicle is very modern and sleek, with the look of luxury you'd expect from a Cadillac. The interior is very roomy and comfortable, fitting multiple car seats in the back seat without issue. This Cadillac handles incredibly smoothly!
Story
I live in the Midwest where we have cold and snowy winters. I let a friend drive my vehicle, and she called me screaming that she didn't know heated steering wheels existed! By the way she was screaming, I thought she had been in an accident, but thankfully it was only excitement!
Pros
There are a number of features that I wasn't sure I needed, but they have quickly become my favorite! The rear/back up camera is perfect for having a clear look at who or what may be behind you by indicating what is a safe distance away, or what may be too close. Another feature is the memory for seat positions. My husband and I are different heights, and it is nice to have our preferences for seat alignment, position, and height pre-set, rather than constantly adjusting these when we switch vehicles. Cons
The vehicle is slightly wider and longer than I expected it to be. It was not a deal-breaker in buying the vehicle, but took some getting used to coming from a smaller vehicle.
1998 Cadillac DeVille - Beautiful luxury car
This car is an overall good car with one exception. The car is beautiful and has great power and glides across the street. The only thing that prevents this car from being perfect is the dreaded head gasket issue.
Story
I remember picking my wife up for the first time in this car. I picked her up and took her on our first date and she said that she felt like a queen in this beautiful car.
Pros
Beautiful car with extreme comfort. This car was definitely ahead of its time. The comfort cannot be beat, and it has a very good powerful engine. This car has plenty of get up and go.
Cons
The car has a major fault with the head gasket. Almost 50% of these cars will have the dreaded problem and it costs over $4,000 to fix because the whole engine has to be dropped from the car. Very expensive.
