Still goin'
I bought my Blazer for $800. I have owned it for nine months now and it has served me well in that time. The inside is roomy enough for my 6'2" frame while still allowing for shorter people like my 5'2" mother to drive. The engine is starting to have problems with overheating, but that is going to be a simple fix. It's either the thermostat (unlikely) or the water pump, and I can relatively easily replace either one. So for having over 270,000 miles on it, the engine is in pretty good shape. The only other problems with it are some body damage, the driver side door sagging, needing new tires, and the fuel gage not working (which is way more trouble than it's worth to replace). I've got a 16 year old Chevy Blazer, and it's my daily driver.
