Right from the beginning it was a great buy. A lot of compliments from women. And men too. A five-year/100-thousand mile engine warranty. Very stylish. Ran super good. Handled super smooth. Very quiet interior. Seats four comfortably. A very fast light-weight engine. Very easy to work on for most repairs. A good-size trunk. And excellent gas mileage. I usually got around 450 miles on a fill up. Got a lot of looks driving my two-door Cavalier. And a lot of heads up from other Cavalier owners. Easy to park. Great power steering. And a great breaking system.
Story
Being on the beach in Stanford, Connecticut. And cruising around Ocean City, Maryland.
Pros
I have had my Cavalier for almost 19 years now. I have around 135,000 miles on it. I drove it from the east coast to the west coast and back. I drove it from Vancouver, Washington, to Tucson, Arizona, and back. And never with any problem. I have never had the car go out on me while driving it. The only things I have had to replace once in 19 years are an air compressor, a water pump, and a alternator. Windshield wipers and shocks. And all repairs well very low cost. Even when gas was at its most outrageous, I was still able to fill up most of the time. I really like the fact that it came w... (more)
Cons
I do not really have any cons to speak of. I have had a lot of different cars trucks and vans. And I can honestly say the Cavalier has been the best, most dependable one of them all. And the wear, well, at 15 years, I got the car painted and body work fixed. Little dents and digs. And two minor dangs. And, for 1,500 dollars, I got my car back looking like brand new. And still running pretty much like brand new. I will say that there is a crack in the dashboard. That happened about seven years ago. I think from heat. Cosmetically, that is it. Except I broke my side door rear view mirror a f... (more)

The build quality of this vehicle is exceptional. I have driven the vehicle for about 15,000 miles and have had no major issue with the car. If you work on vehicles as I do this is a very easy motor to work on. Changing the oil or even the spark plugs and wires a re jobs that take less than a half hour to do. The comfort of this vehicle I would rate at a 10. Fuel economy is excellent. I do about 35 miles in the city per gallon and about 45 miles highway per gallon. The trunk pass through it excellent for hauling things you couldn't or wouldn't haul normally in another type of vehicles trunk. I'm able to fit about 14 regular size totes in this trunk where as in my other vehicle I can only fit about 6 totes in the trunk. The extra space the pass through from the trunk to the backseat off... (more)
Story
One memorable story I have is taking some of the football team out for pizza after a football game they tried so hard to win.
Pros
The most positive thing and feature of this vehicle that I liked about this vehicle was the gas mileage. As well as the open up big trunk for hauling things. One other pro thing for people who wok on there own vehicles is the engine is very easy to work on and if you need to replace something replacement parts are very inexpensive.
Cons
There were no negative issues with this vehicle that I have experienced while owning this car.
