I had been driving a compact SUV and decided I wanted something smaller and sportier. My first impression of the Cobalt LT was that it was very cute. I love the sloped back end and the spoiler on the trunk. It was used but only had 95,000 miles on it, which wasn't bad for a 4 year old car. Five years later I am still driving it, but I have had one recall for the ignition component, and more recently it developed a leak in the fuel line that was very costly to repair, not to mention very dangerous to drive around with until I was able to fix it. My biggest contention though is that it's just very "cheaply" made as far as the interior (dash components, center console etc.). I am also very disappointed with the trunk access. The trunk itself is a pretty good size for such a small car, how... (more)
Story
I have several times almost gotten into someone else's car, because apparently many people in my area drive white Cobalt LTs.
Pros
Small and easy to maneuver. Attractive body design. Good gas mileage.
Cons
Ignition recall, leaking gas lines, rust, cheap feeling components.

The moment I found this car I knew it had to be mine. It was my first car I'd ever owned. The car was a gift from my late mother for graduating high school. My car is a decade old car and still runs very well. The interior of the car is probably my favorite thing about my car. It has a sporty look, a great heater, and an easy to read dash display.
Story
A fun memory I had in the car was driving to the campgrounds for a end of summer camping trip not long after I purchased the car. It fit all of my camping gear and still had room for a few passengers.
Pros
Some of the best things about the car are the quietness of the engine, the comfortable seats, and the spacious trunk. The car has really good gas mileage as well. Its a really great first car for the eager teen starting their life. The car is sporty-looking enough for the average teen, but doesn't have the excessive speed that comes with some of the popular cars wanted by teens.
Cons
The negative things about the car are that the car seems to need more oil changes that normal, the small seats in the back of the car, and the small side mirrors that slightly limit your rear view.

I visited Ray Skillman South side Hyundai on a Saturday with my wife to purchase my first new car. The service guy immediately took care of the car, gave me a very new loaner car free of charge!
