Chevrolet Cobalt Owner Ratings & Reviews

2009 Chevrolet Cobalt - Reliable starter car.
This car gets great fuel economy. It has good acceleration for a four-cylinder. It's been very reliable over the years, and its repair costs have been low. It has remote start, which is great in this cold climate. The ride is pretty smooth for a car of its class. The sunroof is fun.
Story
This is the car we take to the football games and use to tailgate because the team color is red and so is the car. Would make more sense to take a bigger car when bringing extra people, but we go with team spirit and all squish in. :) Have a great time partying in the parking lot in 100% team colors.
Pros
Best thing is the great fuel economy. Decent acceleration for merging onto freeway. Low repair costs has also been a big plus.
Cons
It's only a two-door, and the back seat is very cramped. Very poor rearview vision because of the small window and the spoiler. Tiny trunk. Seats are a bit narrow.
2007 Chevrolet Cobalt - A great car for durability
My Chevy Cobalt is a great car for durability and lasting use. I commonly use my car for short and long travel, and it has held up well overall. Even though it is a 2007 and I purchased it in 2016, it has not had any mechanical issues or any signs of significant wear on any part of it. It is a great car for a college student as well, since it is fairly good on gas mileage and inexpensive to do maintenance on.
Story
I have used this car to drive from Wisconsin to Minnesota a number of times, so it had great mileage and made for a good road trip each time.
Pros
It has good gas mileage. It is inexpensive to maintain, and it has a good amount of room in trunk.
Cons
It is a smaller car overall, and it is older.
