First up this car is nippy, round corners; it has quite a kick to it. The AWD provides enough stability to get us out of our steep driveway in an ice storm. The cargo space is really good for a vehicle of its size. We transport a lot of elderly relatives and have no problems at all accommodating their wheelchairs and walkers in the back. The engine is responsive and while others comment on the brakes not being as responsive, I have not found this to be the case. You brake, it bites, simple as that. The fuel economy is still up there despite losing a little to the AWD. It's a worthwhile trade off for us as we live down a very twisty narrow road and have to get home in all weathers! It has USB ports for all your tech and recharging needs, and you can set up the Bluetooth for your phone. ... (more)
Story
We bought this as our second car, the commute car, but we've ended up driving it even on the weekends because my husband just loves the experience of driving it. I love the comfortable ride in the passenger seat!
Pros
The ride is far more comfortable than the other small SUVs we test drove in this class as are the seats which are on the comfortable side of firm. Great cargo space for the size of vehicle. Quiet ride, really nice. The bodywork of the car is higher, so you feel cradled and protected in this car, which I think also reduces road noise. The mileage is great for an AWD. It's a responsive drive; put your foot down and it goes!
Cons
There is a bit of a blind spot on the front a-frame posts which can be tricky when negotiating our local s-bend roads. You learn to look around them. Reversing is tricky because of the size of the rear window and the absence of any reversing camera. My four-year-old daughter is not crazy about the higher windows, compared with the Honda CRV, she complains she can't see out of them from her car seat. The interior dash and trim could be a bit more luxurious; it's looks basic and plasticky.

I love this car! It has been very reliable for the last two years since I purchased it. I bought the car gently used and in near new condition. I had some trouble with the check engine light coming on, but that was covered by the warranty so it was not a problem. I also had some trouble with the battery leaking, but I cannot say if it was the cars fault or the fault of the previous owner. Since we got the LT model, the sound system is amazing. While waiting for our car, we were given a loaner car, and the sound system in the loaner vehicle was not as nice as the one in our car. We have driven this car on a couple road trips and the amount of space is amazing. My bf and myself along with our two cats fit comfortably in the cabin along with all of our belongings. There is even space on t... (more)
Story
We took this vehicle up into the mountains last summer to go fishing. The drive was about six hours. My bf and myself, along with our two cats, met my in laws at a lake in a mountain town north of us. This was my first time ever to the area of the state. It was also my first time on a boat and my first time fishing. The weather was beautiful, especially the first day we went out on the boat. W... (more)
Pros
Sound system, spacious, comfortable, great gas mileage.
Cons
Battery leaked. Windows do not have one-touch roll-up.

Everyone here is incredible friendly and casual. . . just walk in and grab some keys and enjoy your test drive! It's very easy to get to know the employees on a personal basis without feeling like they're in it just to get your signature. The whole process of buying was unbelievably smooth and quick, and they got me approved when I never would have thought I could be. Had to bring my new car back the next day for repair (nothing major, nor their fault), and had it back within 24 hours, no hassle. Wouldn't hesitate to buy here again or recommend to friends.

From the second we walked in, the salesman made us feel welcome and like our feelings mattered. He was patient as we test drove quite a few cars to find the right one for us. When it came to financing, he explained all of our options and was able to get us a very competitive financing rate. He answered all of our questions and had the car ready for us in the showroom when we came to pick it up. We were made to feel like we really mattered. Afterwards, he called back multiple times to make sure we were satisfied with everything.
