Excellent workhorse
I have had this car for about a year and a half. I bought it certified pre-owned, and that was the best decision I could have made. It had less than 30,000 miles on it, and the interior is incredibly easy to clean, especially with kids in it. It is very roomy and can easily fit two car seats in it. Seats fold down to allow a lot of room for when you move and can fit large boxes from stores. I can easily take my bike places in it as well. Stereo is good and so is the Bluetooth capabilities. Only thing about Bluetooth I did not like was that it is for call audio only. Gets good gas mileage as well and a large tank for less fill ups. I did have to have my engine rebuilt due to a factory issue that did not happen in every car. Other than that, I have not had repairs on it. I would recommend this car for parents of two, potentially three kids. Two car seats can easily fit but three may be pushing it. A booster could be put between the car seats if needed. I would say that if you buy one of these used like I did, a warranty is probably the least of your concerns since I have only had to do routine maintenance.

Perfect mom car.
The 2014 Chevy Equinox is probably the best car I've ever decided upon. The car is spacious enough for 4 large, big boned people, or 5 if the passengers are small. The trunk space is decent, not huge but can hold a big shopping trip. The middle console has a sub outlet so you can hook up your phone directly to the car if you don't want to burn your battery on Bluetooth. I like the touch screen capabilities and the back up camera. I do not know how I lived life in my other cars without the back up camera. The only thing I do not like about the car is the lack of power. When trying to accelerate I sometimes I have to give my car and pep talk and say COME ON you CAN DO IT! It takes awhile for it to get up to speed. And this happens on regular engine mode, not economy mode.
