All Around A Great Vehicle
The Chevy Equinox is a great all around vehicle. It is efficient on gas for an SUV. With the right tires, the ride is incredible. The all wheel drive is exceptional in the winter time and traveling on treacherous roads. Additionally, the back seat moves to increase leg room or the cargo section in the rear of the vehicle. The engine does make a diesel noise but it is not a serious problem according to the dealership. It does also burn up oil regularly and needs to be checked every couple thousand miles to make sure it stays at an appropriate level, this will make sure the engine lasts as long as possible. There is room for 5 people but 3 in the back seat would be a little tight.

Love and Hate
I love the look and fit of the car. I have purchased five brand new Chevys and one Pontiac (of a Toyota made vehicle, the Vibe). Purchases were made between tow dealerships, so you can see that loyalty and service is important to me. This vehicle has been a complete lemon. It had problems (severe lurching, oil leak) that I had to deal with repeatedly, and which were eventually both service items for which GM authorized repairs. The service department has not resolved the lurching, and I don't want to spend any more money on the problem.
