2008 Chevrolet Impala - Best car I've ever owned
I love this car. It's the best I've ever owned. I like its style, it's comfortable and easy to drive, and it gets decent gas mileage considering its size. I also feel safe in it as it is sturdily built and would likely fare well in an accident. It has great power and accelerates better than any car I've ever had. It also has sensors that conveniently show you the mileage range with your amount of gas in the tank, tire pressure, etc. I also like the center console, which I use to store my phone which is plugged into the AUX port and used to play music while driving. An added plus for me as an Alaskan is that it performs well in the snow.
Story
Just yesterday, there was a 30+ car pile-up due to icy roads and low visibility, and partly due to the anti-lock breaks and great visibility in the Impala, I had no problem getting through!
Pros
It has a stylish body. It's comfortable to sit in and easy to drive. It seems safe as it's sturdily built, and there are lots of safety features including air bags and anti-lock breaks. It is powerful and accelerates well. I also appreciate all of the information you can get in the dash - tire pressure, how many miles you can drive on the gas in your tank, trip stats, etc. It also easily seats five, with a spacious back seat, and a spacious truck as well.
Cons
I would appreciate if it had Bluetooth capabilities or were part electric, and if it had a windshield wiper on the back window. It is also a little heavy and could be lightened a little bit. The gas mileage is good, but I could always use more efficiency. Wouldn't mind a better quality default stereo, either, though the speakers are high quality.
