2008 Chevrolet Impala - Reliable vehicle, a few issues with locks
I really like this car because I feel safe and can trust it not to fail on me.
It starts up the first time, every time. Replaced battery at approximately 70,000 miles.

Pros
The car is sturdy and has a smooth, comfortable ride. Reliable vehicle with few mechanical issues in its 85,000 miles. Cloth seats haven't shown much wear, decent radio and CD system. Not the most stylish car out there, but at 50 years old I am not trying to impress anyone. Getting around 23mpg mostly town and interstate miles, at approximately 40 miles per day total. Large trunk holds child's bike easily with room to spare.
Cons
Had problems at around 50,000 miles. Had to replace 3 of the 4 door locking systems at $250 each. I think that when 3 have been replaced the manufacturer should consider it a manufacturing defect and cover it. Tend to replace tires more often than I think necessary.
2001 Chevrolet Impala - great dependable car
First of all, I think the car design was overall very nice. I really like the round tail lights in the back. My car had leather seats and was very comfortable. The backseat had plenty of room and the trunk was also very spacious. I rarely have any trouble with this car. I think in the 10 years I've owned it, I've only taken it to a shop once. The gas mileage was very good and it was not very pricy to repair. This car was very fun to drive and most importantly it ran very smooth. I felt very in control while driving this vehicle in good and bad weather.
Story
The best times in this vehicle were just taking it out driving at night. Just for fun. Usually, I would go out in the country by myself and the car was so smooth it would be almost completely silent if the radio was off.
Pros
The pros were it's driving ability. Very smooth, easy to drive. Also, very good in poor conditions on the road and in bad weather. Also, the overall look of the vehicle is very nice. It is also very roomy and gives a nice amount of space for a small car.
Cons
There aren't any real cons to this. Other than the price when I bought it was a little steep but that was over 10 years ago.
