Many friends of mine, who have ridden in my car, have commented on the iPad-like center display. My favorite aspect is the Apple CarPlay, which allows me to project my GPS directions into the center display. I am also able to use Spotify in order to switch songs in the center display as opposed to my phone which is much safer. The Malibu seems to be getting 31-33 mpg highway, which is also an excellent feature for those who are cost conscious about fuel. The one thing I noticed that was different when I first got the car was that it turns off completely at a traffic light and will restart upon acceleration, which probably helps with fuel savings while idling in traffic. A glitch that I've noticed that I will need to contact a dealer about soon is a beeping noise that occurs for no apparent reason. I've looked at the car computer, and there is no warning or signal lights on that would suggest anything is wrong, and this leads me to think there is a wiring or computer error. Overall though, the car is cost efficient and meets all the needs of a modern, young driver.

Body still looks great for being an older model, very little rust. The inside is comfortable and easy to clean. All of the "extras," for example, the power seats, power windows, etc. still work great, and I have never had a problem with them. Dashboard is easy to read and all of the buttons are easy to locate and use. It has an outlet for the old cigarette lighters and an additional one for your cell phone or other electronic. Good number of cubby holes to hide your stuff. I do not like that it has an engine-knocking sound. It has had this since I bought it, and it has been checked out a number of times by mechanics, and unfortunately, it appears the Malibus built around this year have similar issues such as this one. Also, had a problem with the sub frame last year.
