I got my current car used, as my first car out of high school and I have had it about 5 years now. Overall I have been extremely pleased with my purchase. It was affordable and has been very reliable. I have only had to do minor repairs so far and it had about 130k miles on it and still has plenty of go left in it. While it is not the best carry on the market for mpg it gets a very reasonable 26-28 mpg on average with both highway and city driving during the week. It handles well and has a sporty feel to it, which is important I don't want to feel like I'm driving my grandma's car! The repair costs have been reasonable, with the exception of the break lines. Those were expensive due to gm only using those particular lines and connectors for a few years.
