I leased my Malibu in February of 2014. It has been a great vehicle so far. The ride is great and it is very comfortable to drive. All of the controls are within easy reach. It has many great features that make driving this car fun. The size of the car is perfect. I typically have no issues trying to park. This car has everything in it that I need plus a lot of extras that just make it a pleasure own. I have not had any mechanical issues with the car since I leased it. It has great pick up, it can get out of it's own way and it stops on a dime when needed. I feel very safe when I am driving this car. There is not much that I do not like about this car.
Story
Shortly after I leased the car I took it on road trip up north. It was the best drive I've had in awhile. I listened to my CD's and just enjoyed the drive.
Pros
My favorite features of this vehicle are the blue tooth, which gives me the ability to sync my phone to the car for hands free calling. I can answer my phone via a button on the steering wheel or the touch screen on the dash. I also love that it displays who is calling via my contact list from my phone. It has many little storage compartment so I don't have to leave my belongings out in the open. It has a large trunk for all those shopping trips and plenty of room in the interior making for a comfortable ride for any passengers I may have. The back up camera is great for checking behind my... Cons
The only con is that there a few blind spots that can make driving a bit tricky. For example, driving around curves the driver side has a blind spot and I usually have to lean to the right so I can see. I have a bit of difficulty backing out of parking spots because of the design of the back window. I am short in stature and the back window slanted (for lack of a better) too much and have to really wrench my neck to be able see. I often pull through when I park so I can pull forward when leaving a parking spot instead of backing out.

While I have had a few problems (normal for an older vehicle), this car has been great. Quality parts and labor have obviously been put into this vehicle. I have over 100,000 miles on this car and have had minimal issues. It runs better than some of my friend's cars that are much newer. The interior has maintained its quality, even with above average wear and tear. I have had no issues with the electrical, and I have had only one issue with the performance which is a knocking that comes from the engine. It does sound just like the knocking that occurs when an engine is burning up, however I have had this checked with several highly trained mechanics and it is a common complaint with this year Malibu. Other than that, I have had absolutely no performance problems. I find this fascinatin... (more)
Story
After making the decision not to rent an SUV, we chose to drive this car to Michigan's upper peninsula a couple years ago. We were able to pack 2 adults, 3 kids, and a dog in the car, along with a week's worth of clothing. The car has been through some pretty remote areas, as well as some breathtakingly beautiful ones. It is somewhat compact, so it was able to fit into some small passages that... (more)

When I purchased this car I a was a much younger man with no prior credit history and subsequent to applying for financing my application was denied. I went home depressed and sad thinking that I would never own a nice car due to this was the fifth dealer that turned me down, However the very next day the agent who reviewed my application telephoned me and told me to come pick up my new car. I did not understand, but when I got to the dealership he told me that there was an executive that worked for the company who was sitting across from us and he heard our complete conversations. This stranger that I never met nor seen before in my life agreed to co-sign the loan for me. And I can understand if you do not believe this story for if it had not happened to me personally I would n... (more)

Happy with the price. Sales person was great about trying to find the car that would fit best for my needs. She took the time to introduce me to the service staff to establish that relationship so that future needs could be met easily. Unfortunately I did have a poor experience with service later as they were unable to fix the problem with my car. But even then the customer service was great, they came and picked me up from work!
