My old truck
I've owned my Chevy Silverado for over 11 years and overall have been pleased with is. It has been a great truck for doing remodel work. I frequently haul stuff from Home Depot to the house or from the house to the dump. It is a work truck so it doesn't have much in the way of features, but it always gets me where I'm going. In the last 11 years and maybe 120,000 miles, I've replaced a starter, an alternator and the fuel sensor (which is in the fuel tank so it was a fairly expensive repair). The truck now has about 235,000 miles, and I expect it will easily handle another 100,000 or so before being ready to call it quits. It has a strong V8 engine that never has issues with towing or hauling. Overall for my uses it works great. If I had to list complaints - it doesn't get very good gas mileage and it really isn't fun to park in tight spaces. I have driven it all across the country with no major issues - it's probably the most reliable car I've ever owned. It's nothing special, but it always seems to get the work done.

It's not my first choice, but it works well.
The truck was not our first choice. We had a brand new Dodge Ram right before this vehicle, so it was just a huge downgrade. Although, the truck is doing well for how old and how many miles have been put on it. It's an extremely sturdy vehicle. The body is one that is basically indestructible, although I wouldn't say that's too safe for those of us inside of the truck. It's also unfortunately very loud. If we are on the highway, we almost have to be yelling for anyone in the truck to hear us. Although, these are things that are common in old vehicles.
